For beginners we can arrange for sailing lessons by an experienced Captain. The local St Lucia Yachting Club allows all sailors to enjoy their facilities as guests – reasonably priced food and cool beer to quench that thirst all
Boating and Fishing
For those who prefer to get around a little quicker on the water then there are motor boats available for rental. They are not as big as the mega yachts which often moor at the local marina but they do allow you to explore all the remote beaches, play with the dolphins or just mess around on the water.
St Lucia is a hilly island with many places to explore including a Rainforest and the unique Pitons – a world heritage site. There are well posted treks at these locations and many other including Pigeon island with its rich history of the battles between the French and British navies. Pigeon island is only a 5 minute drive away from the villa. There is also trek in the national park which is behind the villa. This steep climb takes you to the highest point in Cap Estate giving you 360 views over the island.
Water skiing, kite surfing and para sailing
On the Caribbean sea there are several beaches, all within a 7 minute drive of the villa, from where you can participate in these water activities. The cost of these is very reasonable compared to the other more developed islands.
